They publish magazines, put together bespoke market reports and business intelligence reports and produce events, seminars and summits. Your role as Business Development Manager will involve meeting and exceeding set revenue targets, through working across an online business information platform and developing long term relationships with clients and prospects. You’ll be speaking with key decision makers from all over the World both over the phone and delivering sales presentation face to face so you must be confident in both environments.

The ideal Business Development Manager will have experience in business information sales, however sales people with skills in IT sales or sponsorship sales are equally transferable. You’ll have a strong track record of achieving targets and experience in successfully engaging key decision makers of major companies. The role will involve international travel so all candidates must be able to travel. You’ll also have a natural customer focus with the ability to build credibility and rapport, able to research data quickly and meticulously with a keen eye for detail.
