Our client is a world leading travel and comparison website. They operate a number of brands and are truly global with operations from the UK to Denmark, to the US and Brazil to name just a few. Based in newly refurbished offices in the heart of Soho, they are now looking for a German speaking Partnerships Manager to join them to help create commercial partnerships with a varied list of travel clients.

As a Partnerships Manager your focus would be the German travel, lifestyle and media markets. Your role would be to approach and develop partnerships that benefit both parties. The best thing about this role is its scope for creativity. Partnership solutions can be online or offline and in large parts where you go with partnership ideas is totally up to you.

You would join a great team that is highly collaborative and constantly sharing ideas. In this position no two deals are ever the same, so if you are looking for a varied role with loads of scope look no further.

Key Responsibilities:

- Pro-actively identify new potential partners, build and maintain pipeline in the travel, media and lifestyle sector within assigned markets.
- Negotiate deals and sign contracts that bring incremental brand exposure, content, traffic and/or revenue.
- Work with the Partnerships' Senior Manager to develop proposals and pitch to potential new partners.
- Act as the day-to-day point of contact for existing partners in the territories - helping out with content implementations.
- Leverage PR by attending key travel or media events in the territory.
- Creative approach to providing solutions for partners.

Key Attributes:

- Solid experience in account management and business development at a leading online or travel company would be advantageous.
- Fluency in German and English is required, additional European languages advantageous (e.g. Polish, Dutch etc.).
- Experienced at building effective client relationships through positive communication, honesty and trust.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a hands-on approach and demonstrated ability to multi-task and think creatively. Target driven and proven self-starter with ability to deliver targets through own efforts without constant supervision.
- Excellent written and oral communication, strong organisational skills and attention to detail absolutely required.
- Demonstrated ability to influence multiple stakeholders at different levels both internally and externally.
- Able to leverage existing contacts in the travel, lifestyle and/or media communities in the territories.
