Healthcare Europa is looking to recruit a sales director to sell our conference, news and database services, reporting directly to the CEO and owner. This is a key role for a company which is expanding fast internationally and is in a market which is huge, under-reported and about to take off. Prove yourself and we will want to give you a substantial slug of equity. 

Established in 2008, Healthcare Europa is the only publisher to cover private healthcare services across Europe. Our clients are big suppliers, big hospital and care home operators, investors (including private equity) and consultancies and investment banks .

The main goals are to grow our subscriber and delegate numbers (£700-£2,250 a pop) through a mixture of direct marketing and sales, working with the CEO and a team of journalists/researchers. You will also be selling sponsorship packages. We operate from a small, informal, friendly office.

The work will involves the ability to manage campaigns, as well as intelligent telesales. You will also be in control of ensuring that our direct marketing gets out on time. There is plenty of potential - conference sales grew 46% in 2014. Private healthcare is a fascinating and fast-developing sector, which is under-researched and under-reported.

You will probably be a sales manager in a B2B subscription/conference publisher with a successful track record in hitting outbound KPIs. You will be a native English speaker, or close equivalent, with excellent oral and written English. You will be an out-going, driven individual with organizational abilities and some experience in recruiting, training and managing graduate sales staff. 

A European foreign language would be useful, but is not essential. The ability to "get" IT and software is also useful.

We are based in Finsbury Park, N7, a short walk from the station (Victoria/Picadilly/Railway links). Hours are 9.00-6.00 with 25 days paid holiday (to be taken mainly in August and December).
