Job Summary

Reporting to the Head of Sales you will work within a growing team who are responsible for selling the GlobalSportsJobs digital media and talent platform to a wide range of clients from the sports industry across a number of our key 10 sectors and 4 regions.

The Role

Reporting to the Head of Sales you will work within a growing team who are responsible for selling the GlobalSportsJobs digital media and talent platform to a wide range of clients from the sports industry across a number of our key 10 sectors and 4 regions.

Your remit will be to become the internal champion for your specific sector(s) by building extensive market and sector knowledge and developing long term client relationships.

You will be responsible for delivering against agreed business targets and KPI’s for specific sectors of the market.

You will be required to research, analyse and understand the needs of organisations within your sector and identify and develop the best approach to converting these organisations to become annual license holders through a first class client service philosophy.

You will build strong, effective working relationships both internally with the client account management team and externally with your clients to optimise existing and new business sales opportunities.

The Requirements

You will be of graduate calibre, intelligent, ambitious, articulate, resourceful and with gravitas looking to enjoy what you do, as well as deliver on a consistent basis.

You will have a minimum of 2 years B2B sales experience ideally some of which will have been gained within the sports and/or digital media environments.

You will already be used to negotiating successfully and be able to demonstrate a track record of achieving sustained growth and ability to meet targets in a clear and structured manner.

You will be organised, have excellent attention to detail and be able to plan and forecast effectively.

You will have drive and motivation and a strong desire to achieve with a clear understanding what real success means within a sales environment.

You will be a strong communicator, with the ability to build long term relationships. You will enjoy influencing people and be able to bring a customer focused attitude to the role.

Fluency in a second language would be beneficial.

Remuneration

A package commensurate with experience for the successful candidate.
