We have an exciting opportunity for a Media Manager to join the Media department of Bray Leino in our Filleigh OR Bristol office. You’ll develop effective media strategies that grow our clients business and make them more profitable. You’ll manage and co-ordinate the delivery of the strategy with the buying teams; TV, radio, OOH and digital.

 

Client Facing Responsibilities:

 

Manage the media delivery for clients and act as the main media point of contact. Develop thorough understanding of client business, products, markets and audiences. Able to understand and assimilate the brief (assist clients in developing the brief if necessary). Set media goals and objectives. Able to take sole responsibility for the development of the media communications strategy. Able to develop the appropriate strategic or tactical solutions depending upon the briefed communications objectives. Lead and monitor all day-to-day media activities on the account. Build and implement media plans as appropriate Develop and manage robust campaign reporting to drive learning and demonstrate effectiveness. Assess media and ROI performance. Build trusted and credible relationships with all key client personnel Work with account teams to ensure that media is integrated with creative and strategic outputs and campaigns are executed well. Communicate deliverables and timings to clients. Keep clients up to date with the changing media landscape. Manage billing for assigned clients, identify and resolve billing discrepancies as needed. Resolve issues or problems arising with client in a speedy manner and communicate issues to the Deputy/ Media Director and relevant Account Director. Media Department Responsibilities

 

Responsibility for identifying creative and innovative bespoke media opportunities. Ensure client receives most competitive media rates available. Contribute to the improvement and knowledge of media communications planning within the agency. Make sure any media bookings are placed on Data Valley in an accurate and timely manner. Complete timesheets in a timely manner. Media Owner Facing Responsibilities

 

Represent agency to media owners to improve understanding of and empathy with client needs. Check media owners deliver schedules in a timely manner and that activity meets planned requirements. Ensure any media owner disputes or issues are resolved in a speedy manner. Verify any bookings with media owners are communicated in writing. Regular meetings with media owners to maintain and develop relationships, resolve any problems and gather market intelligence. Business Development Responsibilities

 

Make a leading contribution to communications and media strategy for new business tenders and pitches. Work with colleagues to identify and develop media specific new business opportunities. Key Experiences/Ideal Characteristics

 

Possess a thorough understanding of all media channels. Should possess a strong drive to be proactive, will have their own informed point of view and strive to deliver the highest quality of work in the most efficient way possible. Ability to both work as part of a team or independently as required by the business. Experience of developing strategic media proposals. Experience of working with creative and planning functions to deliver strategies and campaigns that deliver objectives. Excellent understanding of the industry and all modern practices. Ability to negotiate if required. Confidence and ability to build relationships with clients of all levels of seniority. Experienced presenter with strong written and spoken communication skills. Possesses the ability to assimilate information quickly. Excellent numerical skills. Ability to identify and develop commercial opportunities that build agency revenues. Have full working knowledge of all software tools required to complete the role: Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook, Brad, Mediatel, TGI (Choices), and Nielsen AdDynamix. The rewards
